Pure copper wraps around these two halves of a split ammonite.
Each weighs exactly 1 oz. They measure 2.5 in/6.4 cm in length and 2.25in/5.7cm across, as they hang.
Just eyeballing, I'd GUESS the gauge of these is somewhere around 8, possibly 6, but due to the shape of the wire if you intend to wear these through tunnels you will need to be at least stretched to a 2g for them to fit through a solid material, at least in the ones I tested.
They hang very well and are equally balanced, and have been sealed with jewelry grade metal sealant.
These are new and never worn, but have not been sterilized.
